Introducing SunHawk Rituals: A Beautiful Way to Practice
I have always believed that the things we use every day should feel good, look beautiful, and quietly elevate the way we live. After studying in industrial design, then working for over twenty years in the surf & skate fashion industry and the wild tenderness of motherhood, I realised something important:
I wasn’t making much space for myself anymore.
Not a full routine. Not a transformation.
Just… a moment. A breath. A grounding place to land.
SunHawk Rituals grew from that longing, the idea that a simple object, designed with intention, could help us return to ourselves. I wanted a yoga mat that felt like art. Something I wouldn’t tuck away. Something I’d feel drawn to, again and again.
And so the first collection was born.
The Heart Behind the Collection
These mats are designed here in Australia with a coastal soul - soft textures, calming colour palettes, expressive line work, and prints that feel like quiet stories told through art. Each one is a sanctuary in its own right.
I wanted to design something that looks at home in your home.
A piece that feels like an invitation.
A small rebellion against the idea that functional things can’t also be beautiful.

Mine is where I stretch before the house wakes.
Where my kids colour and sprawl.
Where I breathe, roll, think, and lie still for five stolen minutes.
