Meet the Maker
I’ve always loved yoga, the grounding, the breath, the quiet clarity it brings.
But for years, it was something I squeezed in between deadlines, kids, and the swirl of daily life.
Then one morning, I noticed something simple but true:
I practiced more when my mat was already out.
When it looked beautiful.
When it felt like part of my home.
That was the spark.
What if a yoga mat could live beautifully in your space, not something to hide away, but something that invites you to pause, stretch, and breathe?
My background is in industrial design, where I learned how form and function shape how we live. For over twenty years, I worked as a Designer and Design Manager in the surf & skate industry, travelling the world for research and inspiration. I wandered through art markets, met craftspeople, and studied how pattern, colour, and texture tell a story. Those experiences deepened my love of art, textiles, and thoughtful design and showed me how small details can shift how we feel.
SunHawk Rituals grew from that journey, and from a longing to bring beauty, practicality, and intention together.
It’s a brand that connects art and movement through eco-conscious materials and design that feels grounded and alive.
But it’s also about community.
SunHawk Rituals supports local artists and collaborates with creatives who share a love of nature, slow living, and mindful design. Together, we’re building something that celebrates artistry, sustainability, and the quiet ritual of coming home to yourself.
These mats are made to stay out and stand out. A daily reminder that your space, and your time, are worth honouring.
Each mat is:
- Art-led and locally designed in Australia
- Made from premium eco-conscious materials
- Crafted for movement, stillness, and everything in between
This isn’t just a yoga mat.
It’s your space to breathe, to stretch, to renew.
With love,
Amber x
