I have always had an emotional response to objects in my home — the way light hits a textured fabric, the weight of a well-made piece, the quiet pull of something beautiful that earns its place.
My career began in industrial design — studying how form and function shape the way we live. I then spent over twenty years in the surf and skateboarding industry as a Fashion Designer and Design Manager, travelling internationally for research, factory development, and material sourcing.
I wandered through art markets. Worked closely with textile mills. Built collections grounded in craft, colour, and material integrity. SunHawk is the weaving together of that experience.
The yoga mat is the first object. Future collections will expand into artist collaborations and textile pieces, continuing to explore the relationship between design, material, and daily life.
